
Round 5 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, presented by GEICO, presented one of the best afternoons of short course off-road racing in recent memory. Every race had something special, and astounding battles abounded throughout the fields in each class. Today, the drivers would have their work cut out for them if they hoped to repeat that excitement of yesterday, but as true professionals so often do, they made that job look easy, as the racing here at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park was once again outstanding. Not every race was a door-to-door, wheel-to-wheel race for the lead, but each race had something uniquely enjoyable, and the cheers from the packed grandstands reflected the emotion evoked by the events on the track. Under absolutely beautiful conditions here in southern California, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, presented by GEICO, took to the challenging track here at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park for Round 5 of the 2013 championship. There was some absolutely great racing here today, some of the best of the season without a doubt, and the day's proceedings were certainly filled with some major surprises. To come out on top, the drivers had to overcome a very difficult and vehicle-breaking track, and those who came out victorious could certainly say that they accomplished something special. LAKE ELSINORE, California (May 18, 2013) – Jimmy Fishback isn't big on moral victories as a rule. But Saturday evening, after his "first race, first anything" in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series presented by GEICO, he was more than pleased with a third-place finish in the Pro Lite class.

Kyle LeDuc is trying something new this season. The reigning champion in the Pro 4 Unlimited class of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series presented by Geico and a past champion in the Pro Lite Unlimited category, LeDuc this year has added Pro 2 Unlimited competition to his career resume.
