Final Event Post-Race Report – Estero Beach

Drivers and Teams,
First, thank you all for your continued support of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing series. We all appreciate you and your teams. Here is the post-race penalty report from Round 2 at Estero Beach. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Greg Foutz, Bill Smith or Ritchie Lewis.

Lucas Oil –2018 Estero Beach Round 2 Final Event Post-Race Report

Saturday

Turbo UTV

  1. No incidents to report.

Pro-2

  1. #77 & #37 had incidental contact on lap 7.
  2. #1 received a warning for not staying on the track through the rhythm section on lap 10.
  3. #77 & #24 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 12.

Prod. UTV

  1. Several drivers were out of line on the restart and received a warning on lap 3. Lined up the field and did restart again.
  2. #948 & #944 had incidental contact on lap 4.
  3. #955 & #944 received a black flag for jumping the restart on lap 8.
  4. #931 received a black flag for heavy contact in turn 2 on lap 8.

Pro Buggy

  1. #51 & ? had incidental contact on lap 1.
  2. #17 & #3 had incidental contact in turn 7 on lap 2.
  3. #33 & #99 had light contact on lap 4.
  4. #62 & #99 had light contact on lap 6.

Pro Lite

  1. #97 & ? had light contact on lap 1.

Pro-4

  1. #59 & #21 had incidental contact on lap 1.
  2. #27 received a warning for a tire shredding.
  3. #37 & #99 had incidental contact on lap 2.
  4. #81 & #27 had light contact in turn 5 on lap 3.
  5. #11 & #37 had light contact in turn 2 on lap 5.
  6. #59 received a warning for not being off the gas when off the track on lap 9.

  1. No incidents to report.

Pro-2

  1. #38 & #41 had light contact in turn 1 on lap 1.
  2. #10 & #72 had incidental contact in turn 1 on lap 1.
  3. #36 & #38 Had incidental contact in turn 2 lap 1.
  4. #38 received a warning for being off the track and on the gas on lap 1.
  5. #21 & #38 had light contact in turn 2 on lap 7.
  6. #77 & #37 had light contact in turn 2 on lap 9.
  7. #24 & #38 had light contact on lap 9.
  8. #38 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 9.

Prod. UTV

  1. #942 & #? Had incidental contact in turn 4 on lap 1.
  2. #911 received a warning to hold their line on lap 2.
  3. #1 & #48 had incidental contact in turn 2 on lap 5.

Pro Buggy

  1. #51 received a warning for trying to start before the leader on the restart.
  2. #74 received a warning for being off the track and not off the gas before on lap 6.
  3. #59 & #3 had light contact on lap 8.
  4. #51 & #5 had light contact on lap 8.

Pro Lite

  1. #6 & #44 received a warning for being off the track and not off the gas on lap 1.
  2. #74 received a warning to hold their line on lap 1.
  3. #44 & #59 had light contact on lap 4.
  4. #6 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 5.
  5. #35 & #44 had incidental contact on lap 6.
  6. #5 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 9.
  7. #5 & #54 had incidental contact on lap 10.

Pro-4

  1. #11 & #37 had incidental contact in turn 2 on lap 1.
  2. #37 & #10 had light contact in turn 5 on lap 5.
  3. #99 & #27 had light contact in turn 5 on lap 11.

NOTES:
Reminder, all Pro class drivers given or shown a black flag will serve a stop and go penalty for rough driving. Any driver who earns 2 black flags in any race will not be permitted to continue. If a Pro driver, already on Probation is given or shown the black flag that driver will serve a (1) one-lap penalty at minimum. All spotter conduct must be sportsmanlike. Once a truck is presented in Tech and or staging to engage in competition, if the spotter is deemed to be displaying unsportsmanlike conduct, the driver will be removed from competition immediately. Professionalism is the only accepted behavior that will be tolerated in the spotters stand, on track or in the pit area.
