First, thank you all for your continued support of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing series. We all appreciate you and your teams. Here is the post-race penalty report from Round 7&8 at Utah. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Greg Foutz, Bill Smith or Ritchie Lewis.

Lucas Oil –2018 Utah Round 7 Final Event Post-Race Report

Saturday

Jr 2 Karts

  1. #477 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 1.
  2. #477 received a warning for bumping before the restart.

Jr 1 Karts

  1. No incidents to report.

Mod Karts

  1. #554 received a warning for not holding their line on lap 2.
  2. #544 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 3.
  3. #517 & #533 had incidental contact in turn 3 on lap 5.
  4. #574 & #578 had incidental contact on lap 8.
  5. #514 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 9.
  6. #533 received a black flag for jumping the restart.

Turbo UTV

  1. #64 received a warning for not holding their line on lap 4.
  2. #713 received a warning for contact at the restart.

Pro-2

  1. #36 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 4.
  2. #37 & #38 had light contact in turn 3 on lap 5.
  3. #94 & #72 had incidental contact on lap 14.
  4. #38 & #36 had light contact on lap 15.

Prod. UTV

  1. #950 received a black flag for heavy contact under caution on lap 6.
  2. #952 & #948 had contact in turn 3 on lap 7. Reviewed, #952 turned down on #948, they touched tires and #952 rolled. No call.
  3. #950 & #941 had incidental contact on lap 10.

Pro Buggy

  1. No incidents to report.

Pro Lite

  1. #59 & ? had incidental contact in turn 2 on lap 1.
  2. #74 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 2.
  3. #5 & #59 had incidental contact on turn 4 on lap 4.
  4. #97 received a warning for not holding their line on lap 5.
  5. #59 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 9.
  6. #74 received a black flag for aggressive driving on lap 14.

Pro-4

  1. #81 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 2.
  2. #11 received a warning for debris coming off their vehicle on lap 6. (entered hot pit)
  3. #10 & #99 had light contact.
  4. #11 received a warning for debris coming off their vehicle on lap 15.

Jr 2 Karts

  1. Class warned about bumping before the start.
  2. #471 & #477 received a warning for to much contact on lap 6.
  3. #471 received a black flag for contact on lap 7.
  4. #466 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 10.

Jr 1 Karts

  1. Class warned about bumping before the start.
  2. #38 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 3.

Mod Karts

  1. Class warned about bumping before the start.
  2. #578 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 1.
  3. #514 & #505 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 3.
  4. #505 received a black flag for aggressive driving on lap 4.
  5. #554 received a black flag not holding their line on lap 6. Forcing #533 off of the racing surface.
  6. #554 & #577 had incidental contact on lap 10.

Turbo UTV

  1. #748 received a warning for not holding their line on lap 1.
  2. #763 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact in turn 4 on lap 2.
  3. #751 & #703 had incidental contact on lap 4.
  4. #757 & #711 had heavy contact in turn 3 on lap 6.
  5. #757 received a black flag for heavy contact in turn 3 on lap 6.
  6. #703 & #704 had incidental contact in turn 4 on lap 10.

Pro-2

  1. #21 received a warning for debris coming off of their vehicle on lap 8.
  2. #38 & #1 had light contact on turn 4 on lap 12.
  3. #41 received a warning for debris coming off of their vehicle on lap 15.
  4. #41 received a black flag penalty for not observing the warning or slowing down when debris was coming off of their vehicle.

Prod. UTV

  1. #952 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 8.
  2. #955 & #931 had light contact in turn 2 on lap 10.
  3. #964 received a warning for not holding their line on lap 10.

Pro Buggy

  1. #5 & #74 had light contact on lap 3.
  2. #5 & #74 had incidental contact on lap 4.
  3. #4 & #88 had light contact on lap 7.
  4. #17 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 8.

Pro Lite

  1. #44 & #12 had light contact in turn 3 on lap 1.
  2. #51 & #44 had light contact in turn 4 on lap 1.
  3. #97 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 1.
  4. #35 & #22 had incidental contact on lap 2.
  5. #6 received a warning for being at the limit on light contact on lap 2.
  6. #94 & #5 had light contact on lap 5.
  7. #94 & # 52 had incidental contact on lap 5.
  8. #35 & #36 had light contact on lap 6.
  9. #5 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 9.
  10. #44 received a warning for debris coming off of their vehicle on lap 13.

Pro-4

  1. #81 received a warning for debris about to come off of their vehicle on lap 3.
  2. #81 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 15.
  3. #11 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 15.

Spotter Conduct: NONE

NOTES:
Reminder, all Pro class drivers given or shown a black flag will serve a stop and go penalty for rough driving. Any driver who earns 2 black flags in any race will not be permitted to continue. If a Pro driver, already on Probation is given or shown the black flag that driver will serve a (1) one-lap penalty at minimum. All spotter conduct must be sportsmanlike. Once a truck is presented in Tech and or staging to engage in competition, if the spotter is deemed to be displaying unsportsmanlike conduct, the driver will be removed from competition immediately. Professionalism is the only accepted behavior that will be tolerated in the spotters stand, on track or in the pit area.
